CitroShield™ Cleaners and Sanitisers

CitroShield™ natural and organic cleaners and sanitisers can be used safely wherever efficient surface hygiene and cleaning is required in industrial environment or at home. The following applications and environments are all currently in use. Please contact us if you have a use or hygiene enquiry that isn't fulfilled by one of our product range.
 

CitroShield™ PRODUCT RANGE

CitroShield™ Disinfectant – Hospital Grade
– a certified organic surface disinfectant that is fast acting, broad spectrum and highly effective
– developed to pro-actively eliminate the incidences of virulent and microbial diseases which have become immune to chemical based alternatives in hospital environments
– effective against bacteria, viruses, moulds and fungi including MRSA, VRE, SARS, GRGNB and multi-resistant hospital strains

CitroShield™ Disinfectant – Ready-to-use
– a certified organic multi-purpose household disinfectant that is fast acting, chemical free and completely safe to use
– will keep the home free from harmful germs and even more harmful chemicals
CitroShield™ Disinfectant – Concentrate
– a certified organic surface disinfectant that is fast acting, broad spectrum and highly effective to be used in industrial environments at manufacturer’s recommended dilution

CitroShield™ anti-bacterial foaming Cleaner - Concentrate
– a heavy duty alkaline anti-bacterial foaming cleaner without any toxic or harmful chemicals to be used at manufacturers recommended dilutions for surface cleaning and decontamination in home or industrial environments
– will remove all types of proteinaceous soils, fat encrusted soils, lime scale soils, fats and oils.

CitroShield™ Hand Sanitiser
– a hypoallergenic non-rinse anti-bacterial hospital grade hand sanitiser and moisturise.
– will clear bacteria, mould and fungi from the skin and leaves it surgically clean, odour free and non-greasy

CitroShield™ Exfoliating Hand Cleaner
– a hand scrub with bactericidal properties
– designed to remove all grease and grime particles from the hands and keep them sanitised

CitroShield™ Cleaning procedure
Floors, walls, ceilings, storage areas and work surfaces
• Daily treatment of floors and walls is necessary to maintain adequate standards of hygiene in all processing areas (weekly treatment is sufficient in dry storage areas)
•Hose down surface to be cleaned to remove slime, food residue and debris between processes
• At the end of the day’s production, foam clean with CitroShield™ Cleaner - Concentrate at required dilutions, depending upon the degree of soiling, nature of the surface to be cleaned and hardness of water (2 to 10%)
• Leave for 20-30 minutes then rinse off thoroughly. Work surfaces should then be sprayed or fogged with a solution of CitroShield™ Disinfectant – Concentrate (2-4%) to create a protective ongoing effect. No rinsing required.
• Cleaning and disinfecting of containers and vehicles used for the storage / transport of food or other products should be carried out immediately after unloading
• Deposits should be removed with CitroShield™ Cleaner - Concentrate with a dilution strength depending upon the degree of soiling and nature of surface to be cleaned (2 to 10%)
• Leave for 20-30 minutes then rinse off thoroughly and then spray with CitroShield™ Disinfectant – Concentrate (at 1-2%) to minimise the risk of cross contamination during the transport of products. All trays and containers should be taken from the vehicle and cleaned with CitroShield™ Cleaner - Concentrate to remove any food or other waste

Then use CitroShield™ Disinfectant – Concentrate at 2% to kill residual bacteria that may be present after pressure washer cleaning

Tools and utensils
Knives, steels and scabbards, splitting saws, automatic filleters and cutting blocks
– Foam clean with CitroShield™ Cleaner - Concentrate . Leave for 20-30 minutes then rinse off
– Then spray with CitroShield™ Disinfectant – Concentrate at 2% or leave immersed in the solution overnight to maintain a bacteria free status (CitroShield™ Disinfectant – Concentrate is non corrosive).
– Finally, leave to air dry
Bathrooms and lockers

Locker rooms, toilets and showers
– Spray or fog daily with CitroShield™ Disinfectant – Concentrate (2%). This will help minimize the risk of cross contamination. No rinsing required

Waste Receptacles
- Containers for scraps, etc. should be rinsed and foamed with CitroShield™ Cleaner - Concentrate at 2.5- 5% to prevent malicious odours and possible cross contamination by flies and other vector insects. After being emptied and cleaned the containers should again be sprayed with CitroShield™ Disinfectant – Concentrate at 1-2%

Aprons, Gloves and Boots
The above garments should be treated at intervals throughout the day with CitroShield™ Disinfectant – Concentrate (0.5%)

CitroShield™ Hand Sanitiser / CitroShield™ Exfoliating Hand Cleaner
– A dispenser should be placed next to wash basins to allow the operators to clean and sanitise hands thoroughly.
